He received his undergraduate education from St. Louis University, his graduate education at The Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL and had a highly ranked surgical residency at Thorek Hospital in Chicago, IL. He has been in practice for 19 years. His practice, Advanced Podiatry LLC, is centrally located and provides a full range of treatments from the most common foot and ankle conditions to complex reconstructive surgical procedures. He is focused on a primarily holistic, organic treatment approach with the emphasis on empowering patients.

Katherine M. Besselman, DPM
Board Certified in Foot Surgery
Dr. Katherine Besselman joined Advanced Podiatry in July 2018. She is a St. Charles native and graduated from St. Charles High School. She received her undergraduate education from Westminster College, her graduate education from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and graduated from a three year foot and ankle surgical residency at DePaul Hospital in June 2018. She is trained to perform the latest techniques in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Being a native to St. Charles she is extremely excited to begin practicing in her hometown where she hopes to positively impact the health and lives of those in her community for years to come.
